Deadheading Roses

How to deadhead your roses so you'll encourage healthier blooms during rose growing season.

This is not the same as pruning rose bushes, which you'll do according to your climate zone pruning schedule.

And now for a slightly more unorthodox method!

This is how we dead head roses in the sub tropics, where they grow and flower all year round.
Rose enthusiasts will have a coronary at the way l do it, but its easier and less prickly than the way they do it thats for sure! Roses are best pruned in the winter months, when they are dormant.
Dead Heading roses makes them look tidier and promotes new flowers.
